The Opportunity:

The ICT and Games Assistant will support the delivery of digital learning and sport across the school. This role involves assisting with ICT initiatives, contributing to a vibrant sports programme, and engaging in co-curricular activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of ICT and digital learning across the school.
  • Assist staff and pupils with technology-related queries and training.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic sports programme, including coaching and fixtures.
  • Participate in co-curricular activities and events throughout the school year.
  • Manage and maintain school ICT equipment and systems.
  • Support the organisation of school trips, open mornings, and other events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the use of technology in teaching and learning.
  • Ensure the safe and responsible use of ICT resources by students and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in ICT support or a related field.
  • An interest in sport and willingness to coach and participate in fixtures.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational setting, particularly with children.
  • Knowledge of digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Experience with sports coaching or event management.
  • Understanding of child safeguarding and welfare practices.
