Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Economics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Economics curriculum.
- Support students in achieving academic success through effective teaching and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to promote a virtue-based, character development approach.
- Participate in co-curricular and pastoral activities that enrich the school community.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth.
- Engage in professional development and contribute to departmental leadership if applicable.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Economics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Economics.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a supportive school culture.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Experience in a school setting, preferably in a similar educational environment.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a department or taking on a leadership role.
- Familiarity with the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) or similar programs.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language or working with diverse student groups.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A track record of student achievement and engagement.
