Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Islamic Studies lessons to both native and non-native speakers at IGCSE level.
  • Develop and implement engaging and culturally relevant lesson plans aligned with the UK curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students, ensuring their emotional and academic well-being.
  • Stay up-to-date with current educational practices and integrate technology where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree from a reputable university and qualified Teacher status (PGCE or B.Ed).
  • Proven experience teaching IGCSE Arabic in a UK curriculum school.
  • Strong command of English, with native-level proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic excellence.
  • Ability to lead by example in the classroom and inspire students.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Background in Islamic Studies or related subject areas.
  • Familiarity with international education systems and curricula.
