The Opportunity:

We are seeking an IT Teacher to inspire students in a dynamic, international school setting. This role involves delivering high-quality computing education aligned with the UK curriculum, while fostering a passion for technology and innovation in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Computing to High/Secondary School students following the UK curriculum
  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles
  • Utilize current educational technologies and software to enhance student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular and interdisciplinary projects
  • Support student-centered learning and continuous professional development
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students to support learning outcomes
  • Stay updated with developments in computing education and industry trends

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Computing at secondary school level
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Computing
  • Proficiency with current educational technologies and software relevant to computing
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching in an international school setting
  • Familiarity with Academy Pathways or student enrichment programs
  • Knowledge of Arabic Language or Social Studies curriculum requirements
  • Experience with Cambridge or Edexcel Examination Boards
