Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support the development of pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student success.
  • Take a proactive role in professional development and continuous learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with technology-enhanced learning and teaching.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
  • Experience working in a school that has been judged outstanding by Ofsted.
  • Knowledge of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust and its values.
