Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Support the development of pupils’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
- Use technology effectively to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and strategies.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student success.
- Take a proactive role in professional development and continuous learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with technology-enhanced learning and teaching.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
- Experience working in a school that has been judged outstanding by Ofsted.
- Knowledge of the Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust and its values.
