The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records of achievement.
• Support students transitioning from the Early Years Foundation Stage to Key Stage 1 and beyond.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.
• Contribute to the school's enrichment programme and community events.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Key Stage 1 or Early Years settings.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England and EYFS Framework.
• Experience in supporting children transitioning between educational stages.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to the school's values and mission.

Preferred

• Experience in continuous provision and EYFS practice.
• Strong knowledge of purposeful play and exploration in Key Stage 1 settings.
• Experience with international education or teaching in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with digital innovation and technology in education.
