Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, creative yet challenging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active learning and community underpinned by high expectations
• Adapt instruction fluently to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor, assess and respond to student progress, maintaining detailed summative records of child achievement
• Prioritise and affect the personal development of students in preparation for secondary education and beyond
• Communicate sensitively and effectively with parents on all matters related to their child’s development
• Contribute to the success of the school's enrichment programme
• Participate in a wealth of professional development opportunities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have a minimum 3 years’ teaching experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the UK or in an international setting
• Fluent classroom management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Practical knowledge of current pedagogies and assessment strategies

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Experience in an international school setting
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
