Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for Key Stage 2.

  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support and feedback to help students improve.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practice and support student learning.
  • Support the school’s mission to inspire learners and raise aspirations across the school community.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with inclusive teaching and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL/TEFL).
  • Experience in leading or contributing to school-wide initiatives or projects.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and online learning platforms.
