As Assistant Head of Curriculum and Enrichment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a school committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development and implementation of the curriculum across all key stages.
  • Oversee enrichment activities and extracurricular programs to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive improvements aligned with the School Improvement Plan.
  • Support the academic and personal development of students, ensuring they are safe, healthy, and empowered.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation among staff and students.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and enrichment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and welfare policies.
  • Represent the school in external meetings and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in curriculum development and delivery.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading enrichment programs or extracurricular activities.
  • Background in Catholic education or a strong understanding of Catholic values.
  • Experience in school improvement planning and implementation.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
