The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and creative KS1 Class Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, covering maternity leave until Easter 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while being part of a supportive and innovative school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and motivate KS1 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Plan and assess learning in line with curriculum expectations and school values.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Lead initiatives that contribute to raising standards and improving outcomes for all students.

  • Uphold the highest standards of behaviour and safeguarding within the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching KS1.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • Proficient in using technology for teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to school improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with cross-phase teaching or collaboration within a Multi-Academy Trust.
  • Experience in professional development and mentoring others.
  • Ability to innovate and implement new teaching strategies.
