The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners, shaping their academic and personal growth within a supportive and enriched classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Plan and implement differentiated instruction to support personalised learning and assessment.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices.
- Utilise a range of educational programs, including White Rose, Accelerated Reader, STAR Maths & STAR Reading, Tapestry, and Learning Ladders.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills in students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and leadership skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Recognised teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience teaching reading and writing within the English National Curriculum.
- Strong understanding of personalised learning, feedback, and assessment strategies.
- Demonstrated commitment to student development and well-being.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a classroom teaching role.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience with White Rose, Accelerated Reader, STAR Maths & STAR Reading, Tapestry, or Learning Ladders.
- Experience in a multicultural or international school setting.
- A passion for developing the whole child and fostering a love of learning.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
