The Opportunity:

As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and motivate students of all abilities, up to A level. You will also contribute to the school's pastoral systems and extra-curricular programme, offering activities that enhance learning or support student interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that inspire and motivate learners.
• Contribute positively to the school’s pastoral systems and support student wellbeing.
• Lead and manage extra-curricular activities that extend or support students’ learning in Physics or other areas of interest.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school’s curriculum and teaching practices.
• Maintain high standards of academic achievement and support students in reaching their full potential.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and incorporate new ideas and technologies into teaching.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Physics teacher with at least two years of teaching experience.
• Experience of delivering the British curriculum.
• Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Commitment to developing innovative and creative approaches to learning.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Experience in leading or managing extra-curricular activities.
• Familiarity with the use of educational technology in the classroom.
• Experience working in an international school environment.
• Knowledge of the (I)GCSE and A Level examination systems.
