The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring MFL Teacher to join a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact on students’ lives. This role offers the chance to shape young minds and contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and student needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student achievement.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Stay updated with developments in MFL education and integrate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS and relevant MFL subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching MFL at secondary level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching GCSE and A Level MFL courses.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Knowledge of cultural and linguistic diversity in MFL education.
