Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural awareness.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and student needs.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student achievement.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
• Stay updated with developments in MFL education and integrate innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS and relevant MFL subject knowledge.
• Experience teaching MFL at secondary level.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching GCSE and A Level MFL courses.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
• Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
• Knowledge of cultural and linguistic diversity in MFL education.
