The Opportunity:
A KS2 Teacher is needed on a part-time, temporary basis for one day per week. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-performing, supportive academy that values collaboration and excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in KS2.
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly to ensure continued development.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student success.
- Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive curriculum.
- Promote a positive learning environment that encourages respect and challenge.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Support the school’s mission to ensure every child is happy, safe, and ready for the future.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain high standards of behaviour.
- Commitment to student welfare and the promotion of a positive learning culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-performing academy or multi-academy trust.
- Experience with inclusive education and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or similar.
