Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Business and Travel & Tourism.
- Plan and implement curriculum content in line with the school’s educational goals and student needs.
- Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and personalized learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to enhance the learning experience.
- Promote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and high expectations in the classroom.
- Engage in professional development to maintain and improve teaching standards.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies or Travel & Tourism.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering BTEC Travel & Tourism qualifications.
- Familiarity with Enterprise and Marketing courses.
- Experience with teaching in a school that values staff wellbeing and professional growth.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
