The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a fair and focused exam environment for students. This is an essential position that directly supports student achievement and the smooth running of the school’s examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a calm, secure, and fair exam environment for all students.
  • Arrange and manage the layout of examination rooms and issue desk cards.
  • Monitor students to prevent the use of unauthorized materials or devices.
  • Direct students to their assigned seats according to the seating plan.
  • Ensure correct allocation of examination papers to candidates.
  • Record student attendance and promptly report any absences.
  • Observe students in accordance with awarding body guidelines.
  • Issue additional stationery as required and collect completed papers after exams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with children or students in an educational setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work independently.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an exam invigilation role.
  • Familiarity with exam procedures and regulations.
  • A team player with a passion for supporting student success.
