We are seeking a passionate and qualified Science Teacher to join a supportive team and contribute to the continued success of our students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons to Key Stage 3 students, with a specialism in Chemistry or Physics.
  • Teach one of these subjects at A Level, if applicable.
  • Support the continued improvement of student outcomes and progress across all key stages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging and innovative Science curriculum.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Science education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3.
  • A specialism in Chemistry or Physics.
  • Confident and engaging classroom presence.
  • Commitment to student progress and academic excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A Level Chemistry or Physics.
  • Ability to lead and develop extra-curricular Science activities.
  • Experience working in an inclusive and supportive school environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
