The Opportunity:

A Learning Skills Mentor Gap Student is needed to support students across a range of subjects, up to IGCSE level. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a future in education, offering hands-on experience in a top independent school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support groups of students across a variety of subjects up to IGCSE level.
• Deliver additional workshops to reinforce learning strategies.
• Work closely with subject teachers to enhance student outcomes.
• Mentor small groups and assess student progress regularly.
• Provide administrative support within the Learning Support Department.
• Report on student progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with curriculum planning and delivery as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Educated to a minimum of A Level / IB.
• Experience working with children aged 10–18 is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively.
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching or supporting students in the school system.
• Familiarity with current syllabi.
• Good administrative and ICT skills (Excel and Word).
