The Opportunity:

As a Lettings Assistant, you will support the school’s lettings provision, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all users. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about contributing to a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate lettings arrangements for community groups and external users.
  • Maintain high standards of service and ensure all facilities are used appropriately.
  • Assist with the administration of lettings bookings and communications.
  • Support the maintenance and upkeep of school facilities during lettings events.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures related to lettings.
  • Collaborate with the school team to ensure a seamless experience for all users.
  • Monitor and report on lettings usage and feedback to improve service quality.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and spaces as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in a similar role or within event management, lettings, or facilities management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

  • Experience within the education sector or with schools.
  • Knowledge of school policies and procedures.
  • Experience with booking systems or administrative software.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
