Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Science curriculum, ensuring high standards and student achievement.
• Implement and monitor strategies to improve student outcomes and progress.
• Support and develop staff through shared best practice and continuous professional development.
• Use data effectively to identify and address learning gaps.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment within the Science faculty.
• Develop and maintain high-quality schemes of learning and resources.
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive school improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and aligned with student needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in teaching and leading a Science department.
• Strong track record in driving student progress and achievement.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Experience in curriculum development and delivery.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and learning strategies.

Preferred

• Experience in leading a team of teachers and managing a faculty.
• Familiarity with Science and I-Media integration.
• Experience in school improvement and strategic planning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
