The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic faculty. The role offers the opportunity to inspire students and develop their passion for mathematics. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons to students aged 11-16, ensuring engagement and progression.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student learning and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and impactful curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and development of the mathematics curriculum.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in all aspects of teaching and learning.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for Mathematics education.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering GCSE Mathematics.
- Experience with teaching in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Experience with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Experience with pastoral care and supporting students’ personal development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £32,916 - £51,048 per annum.
