The Opportunity:

We are seeking an IT Teacher - Full-Time to join a dynamic and forward-thinking ICT department. This role offers the opportunity to teach a range of Level 2 and 3 ICT and Computing courses, including OCR Cambridge Technicals in IT and Digital Support Services T-Level. The position is ideal for experienced teachers and NQTs alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach ICT and Computing courses at Level 2 and 3, including OCR Cambridge Technicals in IT and Digital Support Services T-Level.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Support the development of Computer Science courses in the future.
  • Participate in departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in IT and Computing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the overall success and reputation of the ICT department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching ICT and Computing at Level 2 and 3.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with OCR Cambridge Technicals in IT Levels 2 and 3.
  • Experience with the Digital Support Services T-Level.
  • Experience in teaching Computer Science.
  • Industry experience in IT or Computing.
