Summary:

Mathematics Teacher needed for September 2026 – full-time or part-time maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics at KS3, GCSE, and A level to a range of students.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.
  • Support students in developing their academic and personal skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the department’s teaching and learning strategies.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including events and activities.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3, GCSE, and A level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and pastoral care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies.
