Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote deep understanding and enthusiasm for Maths.
  • Support the academic progress and personal development of all students, with a focus on raising attainment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths curriculum across Key Stages.
  • Promote the FAIR values (family, ambition, integrity, and respect) within the classroom and school community.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on student progress and achievement.
  • Engage with the wider school community and support initiatives that enhance student learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching Maths.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Experience in delivering Maths across Key Stages.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • Experience in using innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
