Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote deep understanding and enthusiasm for Maths.
- Support the academic progress and personal development of all students, with a focus on raising attainment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and continuously improve teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths curriculum across Key Stages.
- Promote the FAIR values (family, ambition, integrity, and respect) within the classroom and school community.
- Participate in continuing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress and achievement.
- Engage with the wider school community and support initiatives that enhance student learning and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
- Commitment to student achievement and a passion for teaching Maths.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a supportive team environment.
- Experience in delivering Maths across Key Stages.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
- Experience in using innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
