Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Maths lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Monitor and assess student progress using school systems and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, assessment, and special events.
  • Support and take part in school activities, including those outside of regular school hours.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers through appropriate school systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
  • Proven ability to teach across a range of age groups and abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to the school’s vision and mission.
  • Passion for education and a belief in the potential of every student.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and demonstrate resilience.

Preferred

  • Experience working in multiple international schools.
  • Experience with co-curricular and extracurricular programmes.
