Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons to students aged 11 to 18, aligned with GCSE standards.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote leadership, character development, and social action.
- Support the school’s mission of providing a knowledge-based academic curriculum and leadership programme.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school through professional development and reflective practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience in delivering maths lessons to GCSE standard.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sustained outstanding attainment and achievement in teaching.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within a disadvantaged community.
- Experience with leadership development or social action initiatives.
- Experience with innovative and creative teaching methods.
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
