Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons to students aged 11 to 18, aligned with GCSE standards.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through engaging and innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote leadership, character development, and social action.
  • Support the school’s mission of providing a knowledge-based academic curriculum and leadership programme.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school through professional development and reflective practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience in delivering maths lessons to GCSE standard.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sustained outstanding attainment and achievement in teaching.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching within a disadvantaged community.
  • Experience with leadership development or social action initiatives.
  • Experience with innovative and creative teaching methods.
  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational organisation.
