Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stages, including GCSE and A Level
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Monitor and report on pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes
• Create a positive, disciplined learning environment that supports achievement
• Take on form tutor responsibilities, supporting students’ academic and personal development
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and trips

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE)
• Experience teaching Mathematics, with the ability to teach at GCSE and ideally A Level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive teaching and supporting diverse learners

Preferred

• Experience with teaching A Level Mathematics
• Background in curriculum development or department leadership
• Experience with extracurricular activities or pastoral support
