The Opportunity:

As a Maths Teacher - Secondary, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the French National Curriculum. You will support students of all abilities and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative teaching team that values innovation and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons aligned with the French National Curriculum
  • Plan and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments that support student learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records of achievement
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher evenings, and school events
  • Collaborate with colleagues, pastoral staff, and senior leadership to support student development
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, including those with additional requirements
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school through extracurricular activities and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), CAPES, Agrégation, Master’s degree, or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level
  • Ability to differentiate teaching for diverse learners

Preferred

  • Native-level French or strong understanding of the French curriculum
  • Experience with bilingual education or teaching in a multicultural setting
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
