We are seeking a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at the Senior Girls’ School. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3-5 and A Level Maths, with the opportunity to contribute to a broader curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3-5 and A Level, ensuring a high standard of academic achievement.

  • Support students in their personal and academic development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate new teaching methods and technologies.
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos by promoting mindfulness and wellbeing practices in the classroom.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3-5 and A Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s philosophy of holistic education and student wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching an additional subject at any Key Stage.
  • Familiarity with mindfulness and wellbeing initiatives in education.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
