Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across all key stages, including A-level and Further Mathematics.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and a love of Mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and resource programmes of study, sharing best practice and innovative teaching methods.
  • Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme and support student development beyond the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and learning practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching at both GCSE and A-level, including Further Mathematics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for Mathematics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on academic excellence and co-curricular development.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based teaching practices and CPD.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
