Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons across all key stages, including A-level and Further Mathematics.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and a love of Mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and resource programmes of study, sharing best practice and innovative teaching methods.
- Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Contribute to the school’s co-curricular programme and support student development beyond the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching at both GCSE and A-level, including Further Mathematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for Mathematics.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on academic excellence and co-curricular development.
- Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Familiarity with evidence-based teaching practices and CPD.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
