Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that align with Edexcel Exam Board requirements at GCSE and A Level.
• Support students of all abilities, ensuring they are challenged and motivated to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance pedagogy through departmental CPD.
• Develop and maintain a safe, structured, and creative learning environment that encourages mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
• Engage with the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Maths at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Evidence of excellent lesson planning and delivery, with a focus on student attainment.
• Experience in preparing students for Edexcel Exam Board qualifications.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Preferred

• Experience with Further Mathematics at A Level.
• Background in providing CPD to colleagues or wider educational communities.
• Experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development and teacher well-being.
• Familiarity with UK ENIC and Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) requirements for overseas-trained teachers.
