Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Mathematics lessons that encourage problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Support students of all abilities and contribute to their academic and personal development through pastoral care.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities, including Maths clubs and enrichment events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, observe teaching, and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Contribute to departmental development and continuous improvement of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Mentor and support student learning through individualised feedback and assessment.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Mathematics education and incorporate them into teaching.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a well-rounded and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong academic background in Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- A commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred
- Previous teaching experience, either in a school or through a PGCE or apprenticeship.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as QTS or a relevant degree.
- Experience with curriculum development or extra-curricular programme delivery.
- Familiarity with the latest educational technologies and teaching methodologies.
- Experience working in an independent or selective school environment.
