Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Maths curriculum.
• Uphold high expectations and support student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve pedagogy and share best practices.
• Support students’ academic and personal development through pastoral care and mentorship.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
• Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching experience in Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Commitment to student success and high academic standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience with early career teacher development or mentoring.
• Experience with curriculum design and innovation.
• Familiarity with data analysis and student progress tracking.
