Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that stretch and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Maths curriculum.
- Uphold high expectations and support student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve pedagogy and share best practices.
- Support students’ academic and personal development through pastoral care and mentorship.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to support student learning and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching experience in Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Commitment to student success and high academic standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with early career teacher development or mentoring.
- Experience with curriculum design and innovation.
- Familiarity with data analysis and student progress tracking.
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation.
- Passion for Maths and a commitment to lifelong learning.
