Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using data-driven strategies to personalise teaching and drive student success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love for Mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a strong, consistent curriculum that supports student achievement.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through individualised feedback and targeted interventions.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in professional development, mentoring, and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, using insights to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and requirements.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience or potential to teach Mathematics effectively across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
Preferred
- Experience with data-driven teaching strategies and student progress tracking.
- Experience with curriculum development or leadership roles in Mathematics.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or supporting diverse learners.
- Experience with professional development and mentoring.
