Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inspiring maths lessons that motivate and challenge students
  • Support students in achieving their full academic potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
  • Participate in the development and delivery of the maths curriculum
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school projects
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students where appropriate
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant maths qualification
  • Proven experience in teaching maths at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Preferred

  • Experience with behaviour management strategies
  • Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and technologies
  • Experience in leading or supporting extracurricular activities
