Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons at KS3 and KS4, ensuring outstanding progress and attainment.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for Maths.
  • Support the school’s enrichment programme by leading co-curricular clubs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Promote the personal and professional development of students and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and learning through continuous professional development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in line with safeguarding policies.
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of ensuring every child receives the best education possible.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong track record of achieving outstanding results and student progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to co-curricular activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
