Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons at KS3 and KS4, ensuring outstanding progress and attainment.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for Maths.
- Support the school’s enrichment programme by leading co-curricular clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative working environment.
- Promote the personal and professional development of students and staff.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning through continuous professional development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in line with safeguarding policies.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of ensuring every child receives the best education possible.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong track record of achieving outstanding results and student progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to co-curricular activities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.
