The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly to support individual learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
• Support students through pastoral care and personal development
• Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and carers

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Science or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Strong subject knowledge in Science
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being

Preferred

• Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers
• Familiarity with interactive and technology-based teaching methods
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar
• Background in sports or extra-curricular activities
