As a Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring and educating students of all abilities. You will contribute to a dynamic team that prioritises teaching and learning, and help raise the achievement of all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to support student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to improve teaching and learning.
• Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Support the school’s commitment to raising achievement among disadvantaged students.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to Maths.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
• Stay up to date with developments in Maths education and pedagogy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant Maths subject knowledge.
• Experience of teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with special educational needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience of teaching A Level Maths.
• Experience of working in a Catholic school or with a faith-based ethos.
• Experience of leading or contributing to curriculum development.
• Experience of using digital tools and resources in teaching.
