Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging maths lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Develop and implement a cross-curricular approach to integrate mathematics into other areas of the curriculum.
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and nurturing their aspirations in maths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in whole-school initiatives that encourage students to be Change Makers.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities that extend learning beyond the classroom.
  • Engage with parents to support student development and maintain strong communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience in teaching at a primary or preparatory level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with cross-curricular teaching and learning.
  • Background in developing innovative and engaging maths lessons.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and learning.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to whole-school initiatives.
