The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to inspire and challenge students from Year 7 to Year 13. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons in KS3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics, with experience in Further Mathematics being an advantage. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and impactful lessons in Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Inspire and motivate students with a diverse range of abilities, promoting a love for learning.
  • Design lessons that encourage critical thinking and deep engagement in mathematics.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of an inclusive student community.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents through excellent communication.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor of Education or PGCE with a specialism in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics in a UK setting or international school following the British Curriculum.
  • Proven ability to teach A Level and GCSE Mathematics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics.
  • Commitment to fostering a love of learning and academic excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Further Mathematics.
  • Experience with a wide range of student abilities and learning styles.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and IGCSE/A Level qualifications.
  • Experience in a school with a strong co-curricular and pastoral care program.
