The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and Further Mathematics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Inspire and motivate students with a diverse range of talents and abilities, promoting a deep understanding and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Design and implement lessons that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s academic goals and contribute to a dynamic, supportive teaching environment.
• Maintain high standards of student progress and attainment through continuous assessment and feedback.
• Participate in professional development and reflective practice to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education or PGCE with a specialism in Mathematics.
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A Level, including Further Mathematics.
• Experience teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, impactful lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in a UK setting or an international school following the British curriculum.
• Experience with pastoral care and student support.
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in education.
