Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across all key stages to raise attainment and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues to support departmental improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student progress and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly to ensure continuous improvement and support individual learning needs.
- Contribute to the school’s vision and mission by promoting a culture of excellence and aspiration.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Support the pastoral development of students where appropriate and required.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching Maths.
- Proven track record of success in raising attainment and achievement across all key stages.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission, including a focus on social justice and excellence in education.
Preferred
- Experience in pastoral support or student welfare.
- Experience with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or mentoring.
- Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
- Experience within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
