The Opportunity:

As a Marketing and Communications Executive, you will play a key role in shaping the school’s public narrative through creative content, social media, and press relations. This is an opportunity to build the school’s reputation and engage with a passionate and diverse community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the school’s organic social media presence across multiple platforms.
  • Develop and execute compelling content strategies that reflect the school’s brand values and mission.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets to generate positive press coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Admissions, and Development teams on strategic campaigns and storytelling initiatives.
  • Capture and curate content from across the school community to showcase student achievements and school life.
  • Support the development of thought leadership pieces and longer-form content for internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure all communications align with the school’s brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
  • Stay up to date with digital trends and best practices in marketing and communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of brand building.

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector or working with independent schools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with press and media relations.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and experience with video or multimedia content creation.
