The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community. This role offers the potential for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR2B) as a Raising Standards Lead, providing an opportunity to make a real impact on student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, inclusive maths lessons to students across all year groups.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s core values of kindness, respect, commitment, and inclusivity.
- Contribute to the professional development of the teaching team.
- Work closely with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student wellbeing and achievement.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at raising standards and improving outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant maths experience.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and student wellbeing.
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of students.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
- Experience in raising standards through targeted interventions.
- Experience with Teaching and Learning Responsibilities (TLR).
- Experience in professional development and mentoring.
