We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community. This role offers the potential for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR2B) as a Raising Standards Lead, providing an opportunity to make a real impact on student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive maths lessons to students across all year groups.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning.
  • Support the school’s core values of kindness, respect, commitment, and inclusivity.
  • Contribute to the professional development of the teaching team.
  • Work closely with students, parents, and other stakeholders to support student wellbeing and achievement.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at raising standards and improving outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant maths experience.
  • Commitment to inclusive teaching and student wellbeing.
  • Strong communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and the wellbeing of students.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or supporting departmental initiatives.
  • Experience in raising standards through targeted interventions.
  • Experience with Teaching and Learning Responsibilities (TLR).
  • Experience in professional development and mentoring.
