The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach maths to students of all abilities at KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Use digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and student engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with maths-specific teaching resources and technologies.
  • Experience with CPD and professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
