Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Facilitate the school’s goal of achieving high student academic achievement.
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about student progress.
- Participate in the school’s pastoral care and well-being programmes to support student development.
- Engage in appraisals, reviews, and ongoing training and professional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching techniques and resources.
- Support students in developing the skills needed for success in further education and beyond.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Degree-level qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A-level.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
Preferred
- Knowledge of international curricula.
- Experience working with a diverse range of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
