Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Facilitate the school’s goal of achieving high student academic achievement.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about student progress.
  • Participate in the school’s pastoral care and well-being programmes to support student development.
  • Engage in appraisals, reviews, and ongoing training and professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share teaching techniques and resources.
  • Support students in developing the skills needed for success in further education and beyond.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree-level qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE and A-level.
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of international curricula.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to pastoral care and student well-being.
