Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across Years 7 to 13
- Develop and implement a curriculum that is challenging and accessible to all learners
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Mathematics and STEM teams to enhance teaching and learning
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity through teaching and student engagement
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school
- Work closely with students to foster a love of learning and a growth mindset
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities in mathematics
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Commitment to student progress and personal development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience of teaching across a range of abilities and year groups
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Familiarity with research-based teaching methods
- Experience working in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity
- Experience with STEM-related subjects or extracurricular activities
