Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement schemes of work that align with the school’s curriculum and raise student achievement.
- Provide individualised support and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, using data to inform teaching and learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the school’s continued improvement.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Experience in teaching mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching additional GCSE subjects such as Business, Economics, or Computing.
- Experience working with early career teachers.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
