The Opportunity:

A Science Teacher is sought to join a dynamic and successful team, delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on student achievement and contribute to a school with a strong track record of improvement and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through teaching and pastoral care.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular activities and science-related events.
  • Ensure the use of up-to-date teaching methods and resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with GCSE Science or equivalent qualifications.
  • Familiarity with the Brampton Manor Trust or similar multi-academy trusts.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality outcomes in a school with a strong improvement record.
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Science education.
