The Opportunity:
A Science Teacher is sought to join a dynamic and successful team, delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on student achievement and contribute to a school with a strong track record of improvement and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Support the school’s mission and values through teaching and pastoral care.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and science-related events.
- Ensure the use of up-to-date teaching methods and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant Science subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to student progress and achievement.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take on additional responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE Science or equivalent qualifications.
- Familiarity with the Brampton Manor Trust or similar multi-academy trusts.
- Experience in delivering high-quality outcomes in a school with a strong improvement record.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in Science education.
