The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher Winchester to join a dynamic and supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to teach a range of Mathematics courses, including Statistics GCSE and further Maths GCSE. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and motivating students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across all key stages, from Year 7 through to GCSE.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Mathematics team to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and individualised feedback.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the Statistics GCSE and further Maths GCSE courses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to inform teaching and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge of Mathematics from Year 7 through to GCSE.
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Statistics GCSE or further Maths GCSE.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and individualised learning strategies.
  • Experience in using a range of teaching technologies and resources.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student support.
