The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher Winchester to join a dynamic and supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to teach a range of Mathematics courses, including Statistics GCSE and further Maths GCSE. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and motivating students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across all key stages, from Year 7 through to GCSE.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and challenge students of all abilities.
- Work collaboratively with the Mathematics team to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated instruction and individualised feedback.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the Statistics GCSE and further Maths GCSE courses.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly to inform teaching and learning.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge of Mathematics from Year 7 through to GCSE.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Statistics GCSE or further Maths GCSE.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and individualised learning strategies.
- Experience in using a range of teaching technologies and resources.
- Experience in pastoral care and student support.
